tips to prepare for class



 
 
 
 
  • Always arrive 5-10 minutes before class time. Use the restroom if you need to and turn off your cell phone.

  • Remove your shoes and socks outside the door.

  • Please wear comfortable workout attire. Layers are best, as your body temperature changes throughout your practice. Be prepared to work in bare feet. If you have long hair you may want to tie it back.

  • Please shower before class & refrain from perfume until afterward.

  • We provide mats and towels, but we encourage you to purchase your own. Your mat is an important tool and a symbol of commitment to your practice.

  • Avoid practicing with a full stomach, and drink plenty of water before class to remain hydrated through your practice.

  • Yoga/Pilates is a process. Be consistent in your practice. Be patient and compassionate with yourself.

  • Practice often, 4-6 times per week for maximum benefits. 2-3 times per week will show improvement for most students.
